Database: "The bathymetric metadata and Digital Terrain Model data products have been derived from the EMODnet Hydrography portal - http://www.emodnet-hydrography.eu"

We could use this WMS Services:

"Users can activate and view the bathymetry layers (average, minimum, maximum, standard deviation and smooth waterdepths in meters to LAT) for the selected regions as well as contours and underwater features. All layers are OGC WMS services that can also be integrated into other WMS service portals"

Hi List.

Navionics is making Sonar Charts with details depth contours from crowd sourced sonar logs for a while now. See [1] and [2].

With an new device called Vexilar Sonar Phone T-box [3] and the Navionics app, they now can make details depth contours in real time (!). Have a look at this video:

I’ve got one of these devices and am curiously looking forward to next season to test it.

The data is transferred via WLAN to the App and from there to Navionics in real time. It would be great to get these data for OpenSeaMap Depths also.
