Hi all, i'm interested in an offline Map of the solent. i see You are uploading such rendered PNG files occasionaly yourself, but how do You build them? i understand that osmarender is used with an overlay?! , so i could set that up, or do i just need a process to combine the osmarender tiles with seamarks and harbours overlay (the stylesheets from the project source?) to PNG?, but how do you do that exactly? then I'd like to convert the PNGS to KAP/BSB, but have no idea how, the KAP files You provide state 'Created by makeBitmap beta0.06 ', but i have no idea where to find makeBitmap. furthermore i can't load the kap files into the stentec software, the support says: > Normally BSB kap files are accompanied by a .BSB file. The BSB-file is > also needed to load the chart in DKW Manager (that is why DKW Manager > gives you the 'file not found' message. It cannot find the BSB-file). > Perhaps the people of openseamap can also supply a corresponding bsb > file. So can i somehow conjure the BSB file from the kap file? also, i'd like to contribute to the map itself, i've edited some already existing seamarks in the solent area with the online Editor, but the landmark (and harbour) editing is not visible (though some code is present in javascript). also the josm Java Editor opensea plugin only supports the seamark dialog. So for now i have to edit the landmark properties with the openstreatmap myself according to the database description and the existing examples? Thanx for any links, hints, answeres. |
