Should a pre-setting or setting not also have a range, so that the consumer knows the boundaries for possible remote change operations?

BICEPS allows for ranges for all categories of Metrics. In addition, there is SetValueOperationState/AllowedRange that explicitly relates to external control operations.

Discuss: Should we require either of these in MPKP and/or xCPKP?

Consider adding a requirement to require allowed value ranges for remote control operations pointing to numeric values.
