Sorry, the problem was that I was building OpenSC without pcsc support. Now pkcs11-tool shows the card reader as empty: Slot 0 (0x0): Generic CCID Reader [CCID Interface] (1-0000:00:01.2-2.1) 00 00 (empty) But that is a different problem. Thank you.
