[Openquicktime-users] Raw Codec problems

Hi,

I have several files which oqtinfo reports the audio stream as:

1 channels=2E 16 bits=2E sample rate 8000=2E length 14400=2E duration 1=2E=
80
secs=2E
Supported using '8-bit Offset Linear' codec [raw ] version 0=2E1=2E

The audio track does not play correctly and instead produces a fair
approximation to white noise=2E It does perform as expected in
Quicktime for Windows (which describes the audio track as type int
(Big Endian) and raw=2E

Should this file play correctly, or is this not a supported option?
Is it possible to tell if oqtinfo is interpreting the audio type
incorrectly? If anybody wants a look at this I can send them a ~500kb
sample file=2E
