Sorry for the long time in replying - Have I replied already ? Don't 
think I have - but thought I had... !

I don't think there is a really easy way of getting basic information 
about a movie out - it isn't just sitting in the first few bytes of 
the file - that is what OpenQuicktime is for !


I know very little about VB - but do you think you could called 
functions in OQT compiled as a DLL ? The OQT API is documented here:
