It is using standard technologies and provides a generic automation interface. So we are not re-inventing the wheel but making the wheel "roll" automatically for you .. if you like with a Cloud self-service (IAAS). enjoy, Matt > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Sponsored by Intel(R) XDK > Develop, test and display web and hybrid apps with a single code base. > Download it for free now! > http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=111408631&iu=/4140/ostg.clktrk > _______________________________________________ > Openqrm-developer mailing list > Ope...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openqrm-developer -- http://openqrm.com - The open-source Cloud Computing platform http://openqrm-enterprise.com - Professional services and support for openQRM |

Hi to all, i'm new. I have a simple question about OpenQRM: what is the programming language used ? PHP/Bash only or do you have procedures made in other languages, for example, in C++ or Java? And what about web interface? PHP+Javascript ? |

Hi all, I have been trying to package openQRM on OBS for openSUSE. I see two issues when I package openQRM. 1) A lot of external sources need to be downloaded when packaging, this is not allowed by OBS, I agree with that policy. I wonder wouldn't it be an option to create a big tarball that has all packages inside already? 2) openSUSE isn't supported, only Centos for rpm. Regards, Joop. |

Hello @ All i found a little bug in 4.8. I install from the SVN, on my Debian 6. and the make install don´t install the nfs-server. I found it on the installing the images on nfs dir. The fail Message I receive is: Could not find nfs-server init script! The fix is. aptitude install nfs-server and clear /etc/exports and all run NICE ! Mfg Ulrich Kalloch |

Attached are some small updates to get test out my development setup...
I would also suggest that a "doc" or "documentation" folder be created
and have the following files moved to it:
* Changelog
* 'README
* DESIGN-NOTES
* INSTALL
* COPYING
I also created a file in my "doc" folder named "Developers" with the
following content
<file content>
openQRM
For developers or persons interested in submitting a patch for
consideration please note the following guide.
1. Setup the enviroment
cd /usr/src
svn co https://openqrm.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openqrm/trunk/src
openqrm
2. Work inside the openqrm folder
cd openqrm
3. Sync with branch just incase
cd /usr/src/openqrm
svn update
4. Create SVN Diff
svn diff > /usr/src/all_openqrm_changes.patch
or
svn diff folder/folder/file.php > /usr/src/file.php_openqrm.patch
or
svn diff folder/folder/file.php Makefile doc/README \
doc/INSTALL > /usr/src/misc_openqrm_changes.patch
5. Politely forward this file with a description of what it is doing and why to
ope...@li... and don't forget the attachment.
For large patches you may want to link to the file on the
Internet or ask
for further instructions on the list.
</file content>

Hi Joop, as I heard from Thomas the changes/updates Martin made to the openQRM build procedure now makes it conform with the openSUSE build-service. Did not yet had the time to test it myself. Maybe you can post some quick steps how you are doing it ? many thanks + have a nice day, Matt Joop Boonen wrote: > All, > > I'm currently building openqrm in de openSuSE buildservice. All, I'm currently building openqrm in de openSuSE buildservice. As wget doesn't work in the buildservice and as I prefer to manually download files I've adapted the spec file. I saw that the spec file is for version 4.3. I'm wondering if there is also a file for 4.4? linuxceo isn't included. Will a configure file be created for openqrm? That will make the build of openQRM more flexible. Regards, Joop Boonen. |

Hi,
Sorry for the long post but I've been working on getting an install of
OpenQRM 4.3 up and running and have come across a few small things
that have bugged me so have made a few small changes that I hope might
be useful. It would be great if some of these ideas could be merged
in so we don't have to keep making the changes in future versions.
1) Excluding .svn files by default
diff -r openqrm.broken/web/base/class/folder.class.php
openqrm/web/base/class/folder.class.php
13c13
< var $arExcludedFiles = array('.', '..','.svn');
---
> var $arExcludedFiles = array('.', '..');
2) The ability to get a list of images and their version (might be
using version wrong here but I find it useful).
diff -r openqrm.localn/web/base/class/image.class.php
openqrm/web/base/class/image.class.php
438,458d437
< //--------------------------------------------------
< /**
< * get an array of all image names
< * <code>
< * $image = new image();
< * $arr = $image->get_list_with_version();
< * // $arr[0]['value']
< * // $arr[0]['label']
< * </code>
< * @access public
< * @return array
< */
< //--------------------------------------------------
< function get_list_with_version() {
< $query = "select image_id,
concat(image_name,'-',image_version) from $this->_db_table order by
image_id ASC";
< $image_name_array = array();
< $image_name_array = openqrm_db_get_result_double ($query);
< return $image_name_array;
< }
<
<
3) Writing out the Server IP in the debug log helped me a bit
diff -r openqrm.local/web/base/class/openqrm_server.class.php
openqrm/web/base/class/openqrm_server.class.php
43d42
< $OPENQRM_SERVER_IP_ADDRESS=$this->get_ip_address();
47c46
< $event->log("send_command", $_SERVER['REQUEST_TIME'],
2, "openqrm_server.class.php", "Could not connect to the
openQRM-Server $OPENQRM_SERVER_IP_ADDRESS, $OPENQRM_EXEC_PORT", "",
"", 0, 0, 0);
---
> $event->log("send_command", $_SERVER['REQUEST_TIME'], 2, "openqrm_server.class.php", "Could not connect to the openQRM-Server", "", "", 0, 0, 0);
63c62
< ?>
---
> ?>
4) I changed appliance-new appliance-edit and appliance-index to show
the version of the image
diff -r openqrm.local/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-edit.php
openqrm/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-edit.php
102c102
< $image_list = $image->get_list_with_version();
---
> $image_list = $image->get_list();
317c317
< ?>
---
> ?>
\ No newline at end of file
diff -r openqrm.local/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-index.php
openqrm/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-index.php
202d201
< <b>Version:</b> '.$image->version.'<br>
diff -r openqrm.local/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-new.php
openqrm/web/base/server/appliance/appliance-new.php
87c87
< $image_list = $image->get_list_with_version();
---
> $image_list = $image->get_list();
306c306
< ?>
---
> ?>
5) For some reason the root device was getting lost every time I
edited the image so I made the following change:
diff -r openqrm.local/web/base/server/image/image-edit.php
openqrm/web/base/server/image/image-edit.php
388c388
< 'image_rootdevice' =>
htmlobject_input('image_rootdevice', array("value" =>
$image_rootdevice, "label" => 'Root-device'), 'text', 20),
#$rootdevice_input,
---
> 'image_rootdevice' => $rootdevice_input,
418c418
< ?>
---
> ?>
6) We needed a system that could leave partitions alone if they
existed on the disks already because the image would only restore the
OS but leave LVM partitions with some data alone. If we want to
rebuild a box completely we set IMAGE_KEEP_PART to false or destroy
the partition table and MBR by writing zeros over it.
diff -r openqrm.local/plugins/local-storage/web/root-mount.local-storage
openqrm/plugins/local-storage/web/root-mount.local-storage
41c41
< # IMAGE_INSTALL_FROM_LOCAL_FS_TYPE - set to a local
