Oracle ships it's Oracle VM Server 2.2.1, a free compilation of Xen 3.4 and RHEL 5.3, with nice features such as ready for HA, automatic OCFS Cluster setup, support for boot from / installation on SAN, etc. It is fast, stable and free! They also have a horrible web-based GUI (Oracle VM Manager) which could easily be replaced by OpenQRM if OpenQRM could support OCFS2.

I can provide scripts for automatic setup of the OCFS2 cluster as well as scripts for adding / removing servers from the cluster and also for setting up a HA virtual IP address that makes the OCFS2 Master to be always accessible no matter which of the servers in the cluster is the Master.

All OpenQRM needs is to accept that the storage is a locally mounted OCFS2 partition (i.e. /OVS/) and that it is accessible by all of the servers in the cluster. No need to transfer VM images to / from central storage since the VM is already available on the server.

Also, if you need, I can provide Kickstart script for setting up and customizing Oracle VM Server installation from a PXE / TFTP to a multipath attached FC SAN boot LUN.

If it would be possible to get OpenQRM to accept the OCFS2 Cluster then the combination of Oracle VM Server + OCFS2 Cluster + OpenQRM would be a real sweet deal!
