#165 ISP Config 3 as a Plugin / QRM Service

Plugins (87)

Hello - ive been following the OpenQrm project for a year now with great admiration for ite progress and adoption as the number 1 open source datacenter management application.

So i think that if you integrate another great open source project into openqrm - namely isp config 3 then this application will be very power full for hosting / saas application providers.

As isp config is a hosting control panel it will give all the front end interface and back end provision of websites email accounts, ftp, mysql, dns on mutiple servers with different services on separate machines/ virtual machines if desired.

So OpenQRM with ISPConfig 3 together will have the power to be the only management solution that a company will need to get the new saas app or shared loadbalanced hosting off the ground on a powerful foundation and with full redundancy for every thing.

version 3 is still in beta (check out the download page) but i urge you to look at this as a serious addition to OpenQRM for the future.

:) cool, definitely a good idea to integrate a isp-portal for the appliances
many thanks for the feature request. We will implement it in the next releases.

Fantastic! great news, i thought it would be a great integration between the two products especially as ispconfig can now manage multiple servers/virtual servers from one control panel/server and manage different services on each server as well. if you integrate into OpenQRM ispconfig could run on the openqrm master server and fail over with openqrm

I look forward to it. The guys at isp config will have the first stable release by January so I'm sure you can have a look at it then

Thanks guys - this solution will be great next year especially when you integrate the shared file system stuff as well - i can wait.

Im just going to keep working on my saas app that going to run on top of every thing when its all ready. :)

we currently planning to add ISPConfig, ISPCP and or VHCS via additional Puppet Groups.
This way we can avoid having multiple ISP-control plugins but just let the user/admin select which ISP-tool to auto-install on the appliances.
    soon come, help is welcome
