Is it possible to resize (off-line or on-line) capacity assigned to a appliance, like memory or CPUs? In my test system I only see Auto or 2 cpus.

    Thanks and best regards

the parameters in the appliance edit section are used (only) for HA fail-over and resource-auto-select. Those available values you can set there are gathered from your existing resources. e.g. in case of a HA fail-over the highavailability plugin will evalute your settings and choose a resource for fail-over fitting to your appliance configuration. Basically it is a kind of SLA you have with the appliance.

auto-select resouce works in the same way. In appliance list you can release resource from a stopped appliance. The resource you can use for different other purposes then. When you start an appliance with its resource released openQRM will try to find the best fitting resource from your pool of idle resources.

    Now about your original question.
Yes, you can do it in 2 ways :

    1) adjust the resource used by the appliance
Stop the appliance, edit the resource, adjust cpu, mem, network etc., start the appliance.

    2) choose another resource for the appliance
Create a new resource (e.g. VM) with other cpu, mem, network values, stop the appliance, edit the appliance, change the resource, select the new resource with different hardware configuration, start the appliance.

    hope it helps

many thanks and have a nice day,
