[Openpvr-devel] Mp1e and Alsa

I have been trying to figure out why I was have been having problems
recording sound and it turned out to be my stereo setup. In the process
I upgraded my sound to alsa which should be better than OSS but I can't
seem to get mp1e-1.9.1 or 1.9,2 to compile with alsa support and if I
record with alsa support for oss (/dev/dsp) the recording level is
really low unless in mono.

Can anyone tell me why mp1e isn't seeing alsa or at least how to make it
see alsa?
