Hi, I need to write an application which can read some data from XML project file of OpenProj and can convert it into some jira tables. JAXB technology seems usable but I don't know where the XSD schema file is.Could you suggest a way, how can I use your XML project file easily? Thank you, Ferenc |

Hi, I really like Open Proj, but can we syncronize the source code somewhere public like GIT, SVN ou CVS ? At least can you release the source code with the binary distributions please. (on sourceforge) Many thanks, Chris -- Christopher Mann 06 32 37 60 96 chr...@ma... |

Well, as per SourceForge project page there isn't a users mailing list. I'm seeing a lot of commits in the -commits mailing list, anyway this list seems dead. 1. Does exist any user list out there? 2. Is this list dead? 3. Does exist any plan of migration to a modern (D)VCS? 4. Does exist any plan of providing openproj daily builds? 5. Does exist any plan of providing documentation in PDF form? Kind regards, maykel |

Hi, I'm the package maintaner of SUSE Linux/openSUSE and some months ago, I've created a package of openproj for openSUSE. Now, I'm working on update of the openproj to the last available version (1.3). The initial packaging use the third party jars bundled in openproj source archive. So I was working on removal of a dependency on these binary archives and try to use of the distribution ones. The mpop.jar and mpxj.jar contains some classes (com.projity.exchange.MicrosoftImporter), but there're no source code of these classes. Can you release the source code of mpop.jar and mpxj.jar (this seems to be a standard mpxj.sf.net with few projity classes)? Thanks Michal Vyskocil |

is it a bug or there is some logic behind that? |

in Project.setResourcePool, with resource.setName to update resource works fine. with resourcePool.getResourceList.clear to clean resource doesn't work. with debugger, i can see the arrayList is null. so how openproj get resource info under such situation? thanks and best regards, aco |

Hi Brian, I've added your patch for openproj.sh in cvs. It will be included in the 1.0 release very soon. > I'm impressed with OpenProj and suggested that people on the > OpenSolaris.org desktop mailing list try it. I'm trying to build openproj from source on OpenSolaris. The documentation in openproj-0.9.6-src/openproj_build/doc/building.html is missing some details > Go to the openproj_build project, and > just . This builds everything. You can also run inside Eclipse. The > main method is com.projity.Main.main() in openproj_ui. just . ???? I guessed run ant since there is a build.xml file sitting in the openproj_build directory. Unfortunately this fails afte I see proguard warnings about missing superclasses: [proguard] Warning: javax.swing.JDialog: can't find superclass or interface javax.swing.TransferHandler$HasGetTransferHandler [proguard] Warning: javax.swing.JComponent: can't find superclass or interface javax.swing.TransferHandler$HasGetTransferHandler [proguard] Warning: javax.swing.JFrame: can't find superclass or interface javax.swing.TransferHandler$HasGetTransferHandler [proguard] Warning: org.jfree.chart.servlet.DisplayChart: can't find superclass or interface javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet [proguard] Warning: javax.swing.JApplet: can't find superclass or interface javax.swing.TransferHandler$HasGetTransferHandler [proguard] Warning: org.jfree.chart.servlet.ChartDeleter: can't find superclass or interface javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionBindingListener [proguard] Warning: there were 6 unresolved references to superclasses or interfaces. [proguard] You may need to specify additional library jars (using '-libraryjars'), [proguard] or perhaps the '-dontskipnonpubliclibraryclasses' option. I haven't been able to find out where I'd specify -dontskipnopubliclibraryclasses or what -libraryjar options are necessary. Can anyone help? |

I'm impressed with OpenProj and suggested that people on the OpenSolaris.org desktop mailing list try it. With a minor change to a shell wrapper, the OpenProj binary package runs fine on Solaris: Here's how to get it running on Solaris/OpenSolaris: download http://downloads.sourceforge.net/openproj/openproj-0.9.6.tar.gz gunzip openproj-0.9.6.tar.gz tar -xf openproj-0.9.6.tar cd openproj-0.9.6 cat ./openproj.sh | sed 's/tail/\/usr\/xpg\/bin\/tail/' > ./openprojsolaris.sh chmod 755 openprojsolaris.sh ./openprojsolaris.sh |

Hi, Ive download openproj.deb and installed on ubuntu 7.10. However, I'm not able to create a new project nor open a .planner file. I've opened a similar issue here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1825886&group_id=199315&atid=968997 I would like to get to know the design structure of OpenProj in depth and if there is some documentation for the source code I ve downloaded please advice as to where one can go and fix some issues. Also I see a lot of TO-Do comments in the code and would be willing to do some work in due course. Does OpenProj have an IRC channel besides the mailing list? Thank you for your assistance. Regards Neville Makopo |
