You are right. The problem is with the character conversion, or more=20
precisly the lack of.
The xml output is in UTF8 and the intput to setpath needs to be UTF16.=20
And I think fuse needs Latin1.
I was tinkering with iconv a while back and I think there is no way=20
around it now. I'll link obexftp with iconv and put up a few conversion=20
I had this small and clean iconv patch back then. Can anybody see why it

the current obexftp snapshot contains a quick iconv hack. This should
remedy the multibyte char problems.
If this plays out the conversion routines will go into openobex
(supplementing OBEX_UnicodeToChar and OBEX_CharTOUnicode).
Are there objections to optional unicode support with iconv in openobex?
