Hi Franz, I have both a T610 and a T630 and they appear to behave the same. >However, a few questions remain: When I use the -C flag (in order to >create a directory) like this: > >> obexftp -b xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx -B 7 -c /Pictures -C Test > >the mobile changes into the directory /Pictures, but fails to create Test I can confirm what Olivier suggests, the T610/T630 will not allow you to use its memory like a filesystem. You cannot create subdirectories, and you cannot put files where you like. I have tried putting .jpg files into Sounds, and the phone puts them in Pictures, similarly you can't put .mid files in Pictures. >Furthermore: Is it possible to get all files from a directory (say >pictures) by using a wildcard or do I have to download every file >explicitly? I wrote a script to copy the directory hierarchy called obexftpbackup (my mail client is having problems so I can't attach it, however you'll find it in the archives). Unfortunately, there are still one or two problems because the T610 allows "/" ";" "&" and quotes as valid characters in a filename, and UNIX doesn't. Hope this helps, Ken. |
