where does obexftp get PIN it sends?

    That's about all I wanted to ask - during bluetooth connections, obexftp needs to send a PIN to authenticate. Where is this PIN taken from?

      I think openobex does not support Obex Authentication, so you talk about the Bluetooth PIN ? You are using BlueZ or another BT stack ?

      Yes, I'm using BlueZ.

      What I need solved is this - when I try to connect to my siemens S55 with obexftp, the phone asks for PIN and when I enter it, nothing happens. Eventually, obexftp will time out and abort.

      I'm having the same problem. (Nokia 6630).

      The PIN in my hcid.conf is the same as in /etc/bluetooth/pin (used to be BlueZ, but you can give only digits as a PIN),   which gives no result.
      Is there a third possibility where the pin could be saved?
