Okay thanks! With regards to my earlier issue, even though the binary rpm links were broken, there was a source rpm available, so I downloaded and rebuilt using rpmbuild --rebuild. This solved my problem of Centos installation. With regards to the overall problem of opennx availability for Centos 6 and 7, I posted on the Centos 6 forums about this, one response that I got but didn't confirm is that opennx is now in the nuxdextop repository: http://li.nux.ro/repos.html as package "nx." Thanks for your help and hopefully this information is useful to someone in the future.
