In order KVM live migration to work you will need some sort of shared storage - DRBD is more like a synced storage eg network RAID - I would expect that KVM live migration wont work correctly with it - as DRDB sync has a network delay and filesystem changes wont be instant on both sides.

Is simple NFS sharing for shared VM storage not an option?
