If not how is collection working. Did you grep > for ERROR, FATAL or Exception in the logs? I guess I have to ask the obvious question - you did set up a = notification for highThreshold events, right? They are different than lowThreshold events. I have something like this in mine: <notification name=3D"High Threshold" status=3D"on"> <uei>uei.opennms.org/threshold/highThresholdExceeded</uei> <description>A monitored device has hit a high threshold</description> <rule>(notifyCategory =3D=3D 'monitored')</rule> <destinationPath>HighThreshold</destinationPath> <text-message>A Threshold has been exceeded on node: = %nodelabel%, interface:%interface%. The parameter %parm[ds]% reached a value of %parm[value]% while the threshold is %parm[threshold]%. This alert will be rearmed when %parm[ds]% reaches %parm[rearm]%.</text-message> <subject>Notice #%noticeid%: High Threshold for %parm[ds]% on = node %nodelabel%.</subject> </notification> Note that it needs to be "on". The default for new notices is "off". If that is set correctly, look in the notifd.log file for errors. You should see notifd receive the highThreshold event and then you can see what happens afterward. -T P.S.
