[Openmovieeditor-users] adding effects to title

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04, and Open Movie Editor is installed.  I followed 
the youtube tutorial, and at the point of adding effect to title, I 
didn't see any to choose from.  How do I determine if my install has 
effects and if not, how do I add them?  Any help appreciated.
