Hi Rahul I put in this error message and I see now it explains things very succinctly. Try adding more swap space. openMosix cluster nodes need generally more than the standard 2xRAM swap space. Subject: [openMosix-general] Openmosix memory problem Hi, I am running openmosix on ten linux systems. Two days back one of the systems hanged. When I rebooted the machine and checked the logs, I found the following message in /var/log/messages : kernel: openMosix: this node is seriously out of memory d ue to VM overcommit. I think I will pass out now. Is there some memory limit I have to set to prevent this from happening ? Regards, -Rahul __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
