    Hello Mr. Behrnd, Although I am not from OMG team, I would like to inform you about our molecular structure generator, MAYGEN, and also the parallelized version of OMG, called PMG. I also used OMG and PMG for MAYGEN. It is benchmarked against OMG and PMG in sequential mode. Please take a look at our publication. We are currently working on the new release of our software.     Is there / will there be continued development / updating maintenance about OMG.jar? With assistance by other users, I was able to run OMG.jar (updated in 2012) in an elder installation of Linux Xubuntu 18.04.4 LTS and OpenJDK openjdk version "1.8.0_242" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_242-8u242-b08-0ubuntu3~18.04-b08) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.242-b08, mixed mode) On the other hand, OMG.jar did not work with a more contemporary Linux Debian 11 / bullseye (branch testing) and OpenJDK...

    Hi, I would like to try out an idea for which I'd use the OMG/PMG code as a base. I think that the initial development will be simpler to do on a non-parallelized version, so I'd rather start using OMG as the base, plus I will probably need CDK anyway. Once (or rather, if) it works I might consider parallelization again. In the development from OMG to PMG, were there things introduced (unrelated to the parallelization) which are important enough that they should be backported? Are there any bigger...
