#36 Ship const times, salvadge idea, market
Currently all ships are delivered 1/2 hour after they
are ordered. I think you should vary the delivery time
according to the size and complexity of the ship. Say
3 days for a big battle-ship 1 day for a big trader and
so on.
Above I suggested that podded ships be left for
salvage. Maybe you could leave the ships in sector
even after salvadge and allow a tow ship to take them
to imperial ship yards for repair...say 1/2 cost of
original and 1/2 the time to deliver. (then you might
see battles over the remains! :))
Another idea along these lines would be to create a
used ship market where people could sell ships that
they no longer need or have salvadged and
refurbished at the imperial ship yards. (these ships
would be available for immediate delivery.)
