#30 Session announcements for SSM

Here's an except from an e-mail message on the
Internet2 multicast working group mailing list
(written by John Zwiebel from procket.com, but
forwarded to the list by Kevin Almeroth). I'm
posting it here for posterity's sake, although I
realize that the upkeep of nsdr isn't a priority.

I'd also like to suggest that anyone
announcing a session -- no matter what
the group range -- include the
source attribute:

c=IN IP4 232.3.4.5/127
a=incl:IN IP4 232.3.4.5 192.168.9.10

Doing this will allow SSM capable applications to
initiate a join toward the source without having to
also join the (*,G), allowing one to avoid having to
depend on MSDP.
