#108 vic freezes/crashes with new IOXperts firewire dcam driver

I've been testing openmash-5.2.1 vic and vat with the VRVS videoconferencing system under Mac OS X. Before starting I had upgraded to the latest IOXperts firewire webcam driver (version 1.0.6). vic always crashed the Apple X11 X-server or froze under OroborOSX (taking lots of cpu cycles) when I tried to transmit video. Backing the driver out to version 1.0.5 fixed both problems. There appears to be an incompatibility with the new driver.
