Andy, Currently, openLTE has three applications: file gen, file scan, and scan. The file gen application doesn't require any hardware as it just creates a downlink signal and writes it to an output file. The file scan application doesn't necessarily require any hardware since it can take data generated by the file gen application. However, if you want to try decoding real LTE downlink signals, you will need hardware that can record 8 bit samples to a file at a sampling rate of 1.92MHz or higher. The file scan application works off of 8 bit I/Q data recorded at 30.72MHz, but if you have a sampling rate of at least 1.92MHz, you can resample up to 30.72MHz. Finally the scan app, currently only works with rtl-sdr hardware. Hope this helps and thanks for your interest in the project, Ben On Sun, Mar 3, 2013 at 10:51 PM, Andy Fung <and...@gm...> wrote: > Ben, > > I am following the OpenLTE discussion for a while.
