The OpenLLDP team is pleased to announce the release of OpenLLDP 0.4 alpha! The license for OpenLLDP has been changed to BSD to facilitate inclusion into commercial products without needing to license the code. We would still appreciate patches so that OpenLLDP can continue to benefit the community. Another exciting improvement is the lldpneighbors command, which will display the LLDP MSAP cache data from connected systems. This release also includes a man page contributed by Roar Petterson as well as LLDP-MED location patches submitted by Karl Heinz. Stig Telfer also submitted a patch to fix a configuration issue and Tom Judge submitted some BPF patches for FreeBSD. We appreciate the patches, so keep them coming!
