A milestone is said to be a stone marker set up on a
roadside to indicate the distance in miles
from a given point, or an important event, as in a
person's career, the history of a nation, or the
advancement of knowledge in a field; a turning point.
In Bugzilla's interface, it is possible to edit
milestones under the products. These milestones will
be, as the name says, important markers in the
project, as the delivery of a version, for example.
Lince uses the milestones registered under a
certain product (project) as the baselines of the
project, and classify the components (use cases) in
levels of implementation for each baseline, that will
be a part of the chronogram.
Lince already has a tab called “chronogram” that shows
the baselines with their descriptions,
the use case and their levels of implementation. But
there are problems and mistakes in this
interface.
