Yes.

I agree this will probably make sense for most challenges. Wouldn't hurt 
to leave open the possibility that some particular challenge might want 
to adopt a different rule here.

Regarding the rules overall: I haven't read them in detail, but on a 
cursory examination, this looks like exactly the level of detail I would 
hope there would be. Not just regarding Git, but everything. Nice job 
setting it up. We can always tweak from here.
