I think that's something that should be raised with the Free Software
Foundation.  As a general rule their attitude is flexible with respect to
circumstances where it's impossible to achieve goals without using non-free
media (as distinct from non-free software).

Consider e.g. Wikipedia which makes "fair use" of a fair number of copyrighted
photographs which lack free licensing terms.

The worst case scenario might be to separate out those tutorials into a separate
archive which isn't linked to.

By the way, I will get on and draft that email to SFLC this week.  It's been a
busy last few days. :-(
