[Openledger-developer] Trade Discount

To All
can anyone explain to me what is a trade discount?
i have a item sell at $30, when a 10% trade discount apply to a customer.
the sell price will be $41.14. i do not understand logic in IS.pm 
regarding this, how exactly the calculation works?
