Hello All,
I would want to setup the rules in such a way that , output of one rule is used as an input to another rule.
Could anyone suggest what concepts should be looked upon for achieving this?

You could use a spreadsheet rule, calling the first rule in the first step,...this will create a variable with the return and then you can call another rule in another step using this variable
