    These 16 bytes seem to have no particular rhyme no reason attached to them.

    Are they static?  Or if you modify a module in the toolset will you get a new set of bytes?

    My favorite model is that they are merely a random number generated unique string.

    What happens if you modify a modules values in any way (replace them with zero, say)?  Will you still have a valid module?  Do OC/XP modules have any special values here?

      Rick, it gets even better.  In a saved game's Module.ifo, the Mod_ID blob is 32 bytes!
