A couple of neveredit 'features': (vers 0.6)

* Neveredit seems very keen to change to the map display from
the properties display. I'd rather it not do this unless I explicitly
ask it to.

* "Big" sliders. Some sliders have an enormous range. For
example, the 'hit points' slider ranges from 0 to 1000, which
makes it rather difficult to pick '3'. Perhaps allow text entry also?

* Selection: somehow, and I haven't been able to reproduce it, I
was trying to change a slider and hit an arrow key. The currently
selected item changed from my current on (a creature) to the
immediately following one (the next area).

I've tried again, and have sort-of been able to duplicate it by
explicitly selecting an item from the menu/list. Cursor focus
seems to unpredictably shift between the menu/list and the display
window. eg: I arrow down to an item in the list, and it selects it. I
arrow again, and the display zooms!

(PS: This is a truly impressive piece of software.)

Platform: OS X 10.3.3.

    1) this behaviour is changed in CVS now.

    2) yes, there are controls that should be made more suitable. Right now
I'm still on big functionality changes, so it'll probably be a little while till I
    get to this.

    3) I think this is due to strange focus handling in wxPython (might also
be my fault). The notebook doesn't seem to get key focus from the tree
control sometimes, and then an arrow key will change the tree selection
rather than the active control. I'll leave this bug open to remind me that I
should look into reproducing and fixing this.
