The first iteration of Elvis is available at 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/javaelvis.

This doesn't yet attempt to address the security concerns we talked about 
earlier.  I'll probably turn it through one more iteration before embarking 
on the OpenJNLP integration.

Feel free, though, to check it out, and let me know of any improvements that 
can be made.
