[Openinteract-help] caching turn-off-able?

I'm pretty much at the last step in the docs.  I know I need to change
permissions to set the web server as owner of the cache/html/uploads
directories.  At the moment,  I don't have permission to do it.

Is there any way to disable template caching to get the system running?  I
tried setting [template_info]cache_size = 0,  but I get the error below
whether it has a value or not?
