...no, I actually would like to see it in OI2, too.

But until this is done, I think it's nice to allow a separate installation
(actually this is how I'm using it right now).

Are you planning on releasing this as a separate module? I'd like to see
it in the OI2 core if possible -- we wouldn't require SOAP::Lite as a
dependency, but it will be there if people need it.
