Hi Mark, Have you looked at the tutorial (development version with some typos fixed: http://openimaj.github.io/openimaj/tutorial/ <http://openimaj.github.io/openimaj/tutorial/>)? Chapters 4 & 5 show different ways of comparing images (although there are many more). Chapter 12 shows one way of training classifiers from image features, although you should note that whilst this can be effective, much of the current research in this area has moved to using "deep-learning" technologies to get higher performance.
