Recently a member of the FilterMeister group shared some code that calls DevIL.dll to load an image file int FilterMeister programs. This has made it possible for me to write an 8bf filter that loads a mask, texture layer, or grunge layer on top of the original image. The filter can blend the two images in 30 different blend modes.
I would like to be able to add a PASTE control (button) to the filter that would load the Windows clipboard as a layer in the same way I can now load an image file. Can ilLoadL do this? It says it will load memory lumps. Every image editor has a PASTE function. I'd like to get one in my filter.
I know it would require knowing where the clipboard is in memory, where it starts, and where it ends. I don't see anything in the manual that mentions the clipboard. Does anyone know if this could be done.
If you can use ILUT, ilutSetWinClipboard should be what you need.
Where can I get information on using ilutSetWinClipboard ?
I'm not sure if any documentation exists on that function right now. You just need to call ilutSetWinClipboard with no parameters.
