I am attempting to convert VTF files to TGA files using ilur under OS X.

The largest file size I have that has successfully converted is 1,398,360 bytes. It turns out to be a 1024x1024 pixel texture. If I try to convert one of the 2.7MB or 5.5MB files, which I assume have larger dimensions than 1024x1024, it fails with an invalid file header. They are all textures from Left 4 Dead, so I'm also assuming that the file headers are fine.

Any chance you could email me one (preferably zipped) at devil.imagelib@gmail.com?

I found a Left 4 Dead .vtf file that had dimensions of 2048x2048, and it failed with the same error. It looks like the HeaderSize field is 112 on my particular file, and DevIL did not recognize that size. I have fixed it in my source for version 2 of DevIL.
