I finally was able to compile, test, and upload the original IG software
we use at the MOVE Institute for our 3-screen CAVE.  The code is
up-to-date with CIGI and Delta3D.

I didn't make any Release Package for it, so you'll have to download it
straight through CVS.  See this link for instructions on how to checkout
the module from CVS:

The module name is "openig" and the code compiles with MS Visual Studio
7.1 and runs on WindowsXP.

I seem to have generated lots of interest in an Open Source IG project,
so I'm expecting lots of good things to come in the future.  This
original code is just a starting point; I hope to completely revamp the
code and perhaps key off the CIGI MPV architecture.
