Currently OpenI analysis view is pretty fixed. While implementing, someone can play with the CSS to change fonts, layouts, and colors, but no major changes are possible in terms of the structural layout. Some of the things based on community feedback we should explore on making customizable:

1. Ability to see charts and tables all in 1 page or in 2 separate tabbed panes like the current view
2. Ability to post comments regarding an analysis, i.e. launch a discussion thread view for each analysis
3. Ability to email an analysis snapshot
4. Ability to insert HTML snippets within the analysis view. This will enable a user to treat the analysis view as an editable (within reason) web page, very similar to how one edits a wiki page. Maybe at first, this is restricted to administrators only, still --- this enables users to change the look and feel of each analysis, and also add data from other sources (or in a different format) within the analysis view.
5. Ability to embed an analysis or dashboard widget into another web application -- this is to support the portlet concept, which makes sharing of an analysis much easier since it doesn't necessarily require a user to visit the OpenI web application, rather OpenI web application can feed that data to any other web application through simple means -- we may have to consider multiple channels for this such as portlet, and also supporting other web services calls like SOAP and/or REST, etc.
