    Hello guys!

I have found this forum from the Numenta forum where I was very active until they stopped the webservices they had (using Nupic) I had a lot of fun back then using the webservices to make mobile apps (mostly Android at the time)

For instance I used the old Nupic and webservices to make a toy app on Android that distinct 3 type of bird images.

That was really fun. I was in the process of making an actual mobile app (a fun game) but unfortunately Numenta terminated the webservices so I had to stop the developement of the app.

In any event, my question is: Will it ever be possible to have a webservice attach to this implementation of CLA? I think it will open up HTM to many mobile applications which in the return will help spread the word about HTM. Of course it has been a while since I look at CLA and it maybe too difficult to implement a webservice based on it. Still Grok seems to make it work alright (it helps to have VC money behind the project obviously) Anyway, just thinking out loud.

Again I am so happy things are moving again about HTM. Numenta went a long time without much interaction with the community so I am also happy that decided to re-connect and even open up CLA!

Great site and great implementation of CLA by the way. I am more familiar with Nupic product but I can see that CLA is much more advance in term of prediction (at least real time data)

I am glad to be back among friends:)

      Hi Mo, and welcome!

Plans for OpenHTM include a plug-in architecture, so it may be possible potentially to write a plug in to feed data between OpenHTM and web apps. Not sure what Numenta's policy on doing that kind of thing would be though. It might depend on whether it is used commercially.

Your apps sound great! I clicked on your link but YouTube is telling me that the video is private?

    Hi Mike,

I am so sorry for the delay. I was out for few days. Yes I think I forgot to turn the video public. Sorry also about that. It should be ok to view now. Please let me know if you still have issue with it.

Yes that should be cool to actually have an Rest API to access openHTM so to make mobile apps (among others) possible. I did not think about Numenta policy!

Any event thanks so much for your quick answer and your kind words about my little experiment. It is was really to do.

    Mo
