Procedure:
1. Pulled out cable from active oa
2. Around 1-2min later active oa rebooted and standby oa become active. Then it goes through extraction/insertion process and at the end it create two major alarms for sensor assetion/oa link status
3. Now I plug back in the cable that was removed from active oa (is now standby).

The OA link status sensor events never clear. The OA "SHOW ALL" shows the links up, and openhpi still shows the "OA link status" event DISABLED.

Attached is SHOW ALL from active OA and hpitree output. OA 2 was the active OA at the start

    Hi Rick,

I have completed the investigation and found the root cause.
When OA N/W cable is removed OA is not generating any event regarding the Link State of OA.
So I filed a Bug on OA in Quix CR ID: QXCR1001295474.
    http://quix-tt.atlanta.hp.com/tmtrack/tmtrack.dll?

The Problem found in 4.00 too.

    Regards,
    Hemanth
