[Openhive-discuss] Protest J20 Prez Inaug through OpenHive work

For the J20 event, a lot of people are going to be protesting in
various ways.  I'm going to be doing it by spending the entire
evening working on OpenHive.  If you are not otherwise occupied
by J20 events, I'd encourage you to join me.

I'll be hangin' at #openhive on irc.freenode.net, and working on
the following:

   * Get the OpenHive registration working 100%
   * Package and release OpenHive 0.1 to Freshmeat
   * Update the OpenHive website with a J20 news item
   * Create some screenshots of OpenHive and upload them to SF
   * Roughing out a first cut at a WebService::VolunteerSystem perl module
   * Creating a daemon script openhive_d, based on the WS::TestSystem daemon

If anyone would like to participate, in addition to the above I
could use help with the following:

   * Redesign the main website
   * Design changes to the database schema
   * Spread the word about OpenHive to some appropriate developer sites/blogs
   * Write script(s) to convert voter record format files to load in OpenHive
   * Security - how can we teach non-techies to set up certs & etc.?

And of course, anything else listed in the Roadmap on the website.
