I hope this is the place for t38modem support. I've been searching
for a while...
I'm using t38modem (latest from cvs on sourceforge) with hylafax
4.2.1-5 (on Debian sarge) to a Cisco AS5400XM gateway (running IOS
Version 12.4(7c)). I can receive faxes perfectly. That works great.
However, sending faxes does not work. Some fax machines refuse the
fax entirely and others (like my new Lexmark all-in-one) will receive
it, but after the page is sent, it gets a RX error. I have tried both
t38modem-0.8.4 and the latest from cvs.
I'm running it as follows:
t38modem -n -o trace.log -p ttyx0,ttyx1 --route all@... --old-
asn --h245tunneldisable -u ASD -tttt
I did do a trace, although it's much too large for the list (1.1 MB),
so here is a link: http://www.myasd.com/test/trace.txt
On the fax that works with error, the output looks perfect. It just
flashes an error (0x213643, if that matters.) I searched the
archives, and did see any fixes.
Does anyone have this working under similar circumstances? I'm using
the Hylafax config file from the t38modem distribution.
