Current VI's Path

I believe there may be an error within Current VI's Path... or just don't
understand why it works as it does.

The output includes the Current VI's name instead of just the path.  Is this
the desired behaviour?  I would have guessed that this would not give the
filename.vi.  As a workaround I am just adding an extra '..\' in the path I
send into it.  

Attached is my modified version that removes the filename from the path.
Please let me know if this is not the desired output and possibly the
rational behind keeping the vi name with the path.
