#2 no names in requisition & odd screen

worked fine until i loaded a pg2 saved game by mistake, then a message came saying moving a piece of equipment to (somewhere).then i got backround graphics of words like VH to take by axis (friends) and available prestige 530 army cost 0 and SH for enemy!my and different corlors/graphics in places. also on the purchase area their is no prestige listed and no cost of any equipment and no name of any equipment.I can still purchase equipment. I unistalled both pg2 and open general three times with rebooting with no luck. I was running a campaign second scenario. I do get the same problems in others campaign/scenarios.

still happening after removing everything from panzer2 file. this happens to all open pg2 campaigns. additionally in the requisition area i don't get equipment stats ie (att,def,range,etc).on the main screen i could be getting the equipment stats in the backround. i'am running windows xp if that helps.

normally we use bug reports & feature requests rather than support requests. they are all separate trackers. not sure what could cause the symptoms you're seeing, perhaps luis will have an idea when he returns. did you use the full og installer?

i've used your installer i don't know if its the full og. when i start and end og i get this error message DXSnd * DShow::Play RenderFile * error code: 0x80040200. If i could paste a screen here i think you would know what is wrong. when i move the mouse around i get added words in different parts of the screen

The error message sounds like it's related to video playback. Try disabling Play Videos in Game Settings / Media Settings; or renaming/removing the SMACK folder in the OG installation folder to see if that changes the symptoms at all.

renaming the smack folder stopped the error message, but the screen issues remain.
what i don't get is og worked fine but after saving a campaign then attempting to load the saved game i accidentally clicked on a old pg2 game from then on had these issues.
