Ok, I suppose it uses the regular cmds:
  aclocal
  automake
  autoconf
  ./configure

however, aclocal complains about missing files:

  aclocal: `configure.ac' or `configure.in' is required

Does the configure.* files get generated, or are they from some 
other cvs location?
