Hi,

Glad you're excited about the project. OpenGC does not currently support 
Flightgear on any platform but Linux. This will change as the networking 
code becomes better developed, but for now the downloadable versions only 
support FS2000/02 on Windows machines.

Your problem is not related to XP, because I use that as my development 
platform. Can you be more specific about your problem? Does a text window 
appear at any point? Are error messages displayed?
