I have read the documentaion for the opengate server thoroughly but there are some functions i dont uderstand yet. I want to know if opengate can be implemented any where regardless of its physical location from the server or must the users request come through opengate before he is allowed to access the web server.
Another question is that can opengate perform accounting?
There are some cases when some group of users need to be exempted from authentication due to some reasons. One of such reason is that in my school cafe, users who does not subscribe to the network buy tickets for some unit of time. in the ticket is the username and password.After authenticating themselves as authorised ticket owners they still need to authenticate themselves in other to access the network.Now can i exempt this users from having to authenticate themelves before accessing the network.
